Primary Goal: Destroy 2 ships (completed)

Secondary Goal: Download Data on project PSI (Accomplished)

Results:  Once again narrow heroics, living and completing your mission on 1 and only 1  hull point. This is an overwhelming success and a huge blow to the Republic. Great work to the crew of the Revenge the newest heroes of the Rebellion!!!!

Things are going well for the rebellion and its only a matter of time before the Galatic Civil War Concludes!!!  TWO MISSIONS REMAIN!!!!

  Debriefing

  Primary Goal: Destroy Starbase 724(Accomplished)

Secondary Goal: Download Data on project Ice Solider (Accomplished)

Results:  A better outcome could not have been achieved. The Destruction of Starbase 724 has turned the tide in the war effort. Your efforts are duly noted and all of you are gaining a reputation as true rebellion heroes.  Your actions are a BIG CAUSE for celebration.

However just as we were about to celebrate and plan a huge heroes welcome for the crew of the Revenge Mark II, the UREF managed to decode an ancient space obelisk left behind by an old alien race. It gave the UREF a considerable advantage in using previously unexplored space.  A week ago the dastardly forces of the Universal Republic …I mean Universal Empire used a new wormhole previously unknown to warp in near Rebellion Headquarters. The destruction was complete, 2 Admirals dead, communications down and cloning vats have gone offline for a month. This is a huge blow to our war effort. We need heroes like you to persevere through this dark time.

  Next Mission : We have learned of some experiments happening on enemy starbase 701. Also they are refitting ships and undoubtedly don’t expect an attack so soon after our communications went down. Download 25 units of data on operation Psi-Fi and destroy as many of the ships as possible.

Mission #4

Star Date 11.07.05

Mission Briefing:

We have gained Security access codes to dock at enemy starbase 724. This base is refitting enemy ships. These codes are old and we don’t know how well they will work. You should dock at the starbase 724 pretending to be UREF engineers, proceed using a hovercart with a thermal bomb attached. Place satchel charges (disguised as tool kits) in each module of the starbase and then use a remote detonator on the thermal bomb under the hovercart. The chain reaction of the thermal bomb should set off all the satchel bombs. The range of the remote detonator is 2 hexes or less from the starbase.

Because the enemy ship outfit bays are not part of the starbase be prepared for enemy engagement once you blow the base.  There are multiple ships stationed at the starbase. Hit the hyperdrive and get out. Staying will result in death.

Plot Twist:

  There is some strange problem on Starbase 724. Be prepared for anything.  Decoded enemy transmissions refer to the problem as the little blue menace. This problem, whatever it is, has caused enough problems that the dry docks where moved away from the base.

  Mission Goal:

  Destroy the Starbase: 100 XP 100 Prestige 100 Credits

  Overwhelming Success:

  Escape with your full crew: 50 XP 50 Prestige 50 Credits

Side Plot Mission :

There is some new military project labelled: Operations Ice Solider. See what you can find out. Download 20 units of data. BE CAREFUL!! If they know you are downloading the data they will become suspicious of your mission.

Special Notes:

You have a certain amount of time (The ref rolls 3d6 This is the number of rounds, it’s hidden from the players).  Failed diplomacy rolls and caught downloading data will result in this time decreasing rapidly (Rounds are dropped from the dice). As each dice is used up the Ref will tell you that you have two dice and then one dice worth of rounds left.

Mission Debriefing #3 10.24.05

  Primary Goal: Stop Dr. Tempest (Accomplished)

  Results: The loss of the Revenge is considered secondary to the capture of Dr. Tempus. His capture is a major blow to the UREF and the time and resources spent on project starburst has given the rebellion time to rebuild some of its fleet.

High Command is VERY pleased with your performance. They have granted you a new size 5 ship of your choosing. 

  Reward:  Rebellion Scientist Have manufactured a small amount of the Drug used on the Whistler home world. For the next mission you will be given a dose of the drug. It allows you to stay conscious until you reach -6 HP.

  Next Mission : 

  The High Command has given you a special black ops mission. You are to infiltrate an enemy base and plant satchel charges to destroy the base.

Mission #3

Star Date 10.24.05

  Mission Briefing:

You have been ordered to sector 7G of deep space. A star there is going supernova. We believe that your old friend Dr. Tempus will be there collecting data for the last part of a weapon known as project starburst. You must stop the doctor from collecting data and warping out. 

Plot Twist:

We believe that Dr. Tempus has paid for crew to take specialized combat training. All enemy have the Dirty Fighter special ability for this mission. Failure in this mission could lead to the destruction of the Rebellion.

Mission Goal:

Stop Dr. Tempus from collecting 50 units of data.

Exp: 150 Prestige: 150 Credits: 150

Overwhelming Success:

Capture Dr. Tempus

Exp:200/Prestige:200/Credits: 200

Side Plot Mission :

Collect our own data on the supernova so our scientists may be able to piece together Dr. Tempus’s work.

Exp: 100/Prestige:100/Credits:100

Special Notes:

Dr. Tempus likes to arrange traps, don’t fall for them.

Secondary Goal: Stop extra ships from leaving the sector. (Not Accomplished)

Special Goal: Retrieve Bio Drug Information (Accomplished)

Results:  High Command is pleased with your performance. You managed to stop the UREF assault armada from gaining any significant reinforcements. It’s up to our armada to defend Rebellion space now. High Command has revaluated personnel and has made the following changes:

  Captain: Hunk Sandalwood

1st Officer: Bzzt

2nd Officer: Kit

  Next Mission : Your old friend Dr. Tempest is about to complete his project which could

Spell the end of the rebellion. He needs to collect some data from a black hole to complete his project. Stop him at all costs!!!!

Mission #2

Star Date 10.10.05

Mission Briefing:

You’ve been ordered to the home planet of the Whistlers. Recently Tweet’s government has sided with the Universal Republic and has decided to send military support to them. We can not afford any more UREF ships attacking rebellion strongholds. You are ordered to blockade the planet and let no ship leave the sector.

 Plot Twist:

The whistlers are experimenting with a new bio drug that keeps people conscious and alive longer. Boarding actions will be tougher.

Mission Goal:

Stop two ships from leaving the sector.

Exp: 150 Prestige: 150 Credits: 150

Overwhelming Success:

Each additional ship you stop is worth 200 EX/200 PRS/ 200 Credits

Side Plot Mission :

Scan for data files. On one of the ships there is data on this new bio drug. Download 20 units of data. 100 EXP/100 PRS/ 100 Credits

Special Notes:

Be careful! Just because you disabled a ship doesn’t mean it has given up! Tweet is also surround on 3 sides by an asteroid field. There is one way in and one way out.

Mission Debriefing # 1 9.26.05

  Primary Goal: Escape (Accomplished)

Secondary Goals: Destroy other Ships (Not Accomplished)

Special Goal: Capture Dr. Tempest (Not Accomplished)

  Results: The high rebellion command considers your efforts mediocre at best. You managed to escape but Dr. Tempest’s secret mission could spell the end of the rebellion. Also only 1 ship was destroyed and that was by the planetary defence systems. The rebellion is not sure they have enough ships to continue a sustained assault.

  High Command has noted your performance and ordered that Kit, the Canosian Engineer, be named the new captain of the Revenge. BZZT is hearby named first officer, and Hank Sandalwood placed as 2nd officer.
